We are a bunch of old friends stepping outside the norms of this society. Adopting an old school mentality, we still believe that nowadays a band should bet on the quality of their songs, not the quantity.
However, we recently realized that in these times you have to constantly stay in people’s sight so you don’t get overlooked. This is where the idea to launch Provocant Media started.
It was high time for us to change our mindset a bit!
Created by Steve DC, being himself an artist of the Quebec underground scene for almost 20 years, the main objective of this platform is to increase the visibility of the artists from this dark scene and to bring a showcase to all those who works in the extreme artistic field.
On the other hand, as we don’t want the quantity to cut-in the quality of the material of our artists, we will also cover all the activities related to this movement where intensity and excess are at the rendezvous!

In a social media driven world, we are finally realizing that it can be just as beneficial for an artist to deliver consistent quality content as it is to perform great live shows. As of this writing, we are in the midst of a worldwide pandemic due to fucking Covid-19. This leads us to believe that tours across the globe will not be back tomorrow. More than ever, people rush to their computer screen to see their favorite artists perform. We are in a new era and we must adjust accordingly.
By changing our way of thinking and focusing on creating e-content, Provocant Media wants to combine the good old-fashioned word of mouth with new digital communication techniques.
Instead of trying to make a million fans, our artists focus on the fans they already have and the ones they continue to have. Thanks to a constant engagement on social media and a good management strategy, the artists of our roster are growing like never before. At the same time they’re building a solid relationship with their fans where direct contact is put in the foreground.
